Double Trouble

Yet another educational week in ISM has passed! Following my last blog post, I am pleased to announce that I have obtained not one but two in-person interviews with professionals! At the beginning of the week, I was nervous about the ability of my topic, management consulting, to bring me hands-on experience in the field due to confidentiality issues. After a discussion with Coach Goff, I decided to interview Mr. Joshua Meek, an entrepreneur, and CEO with many connections in the area. My interview is on September 17th at 9 AM and I hope to make final decisions about switching my ISM topic and find new connections through him. I am excited to interview Mr. Meek because he is very knowledgeable about business and will be able to solve my current predicament.

My second interview was found through cold calls! After many failed attempts and voicemails, SMD Accounting and Consulting offered me an interview with Mr. Larry King, a tax and business consultant. I am extremely excited to finally meet with a consultant in person. My list of interview questions is growing and I hope that I will learn valuable information about being a consultant. My only worry about both the interviews is that they are both the same day, only two hours apart. Despite the next week shaping up to be extremely busy, I am more than prepared to take it all on!
