This week Mr. Allen’s webinar main topic was “How to Pivot" with our customers and our prospects. Currently, COVID-19 is making many small businesses seem irrelevant and ignored. The PIVOT model that Mr. Allen was able to utilize such knowledge and create a solution. First thing is that all businesses must have a “Life Raft Offer '' which is a simple, short, and specific solution that will allow you to appeal to your customers. The next thing is to figure out a way to upgrade your product and at the same time your prices. The final idea is to remove all friction for customers to buy your product.


Witnessing first hand how small business owners explained the need for a mentality/focus change allowed me to understand, just a little bit, of how impacted they are by COVID-19. Businesses must focus on short term goals/appeals, be ready to focus their product and marketing on a more personal and emotional scale, and be willing to stick with their company through such a turbulent time. This has similarly motivated me to have a mentality switch since the reality of the virus is finally setting into me. I must motivate myself to be more productive and not waste time in this situation!
