Niche? Niche.

This week I was able to finish my research on the seven issues that Mr. Allen from Tour de Profit was able to provide me. I feel like I have learned how to put subtle things that I knew from before into words while simultaneously learning new things. Hopefully when I meet Mr. Allen I will modify the information that I compiled from internet searches into something more well thought out and planned. Working on my ISM Original Work is making me extremely excited because it is my first taste at understanding how consultants help business clients.

Another exciting highlight of my week was that I finally had my interview with Mrs. Kenda-Le Pernin, whom Mr. Allen introduced me to. We called on Zoom and I learned so much about her field of study. Mrs. Pernin’s niche with management consulting is working on improving performance and working with the human side of businesses. From helping employees deal with workplace issues to improving employee performance, it all deals with ontology. Ontology is the study of existence and interactions with others. This is extremely interesting to me because one aspect of business that I love is how I get to work with people everyday and so the reason/logic behind human behavior excites me to no end. I may have finally found a possible niche within management consulting!
