Today is the last day of winter break: a sad day, but an exciting one nonetheless. My biggest ISM duty over the break was to work on my Display Board! I dedicated three separate days these two weeks to work on the board. I am pretty satisfied with how the board is turning out.
Previously, I went to Hobby Lobby and spray painted my board a matte gray, because I didn’t like the white or black boards. That day I also picked up blue and cream colored cardstock for my display board backing. The first day of working over the break, I finished typing all the excerpts, printed them out in the correct size, and began to cut out my words. My second day, I continued cutting my papers and cardstock. I also went to the store to pick up some double sided tape, and finished taping all my information on the board.
Today, my third day, I went to the store (again) and picked up some sticky letters and glued my title and name to the board. Finally! I have the most immense sense of relief in finishing my board. Through this project, I definitely learned to chunk such a big project and to not procrastinate because it is actually taking way longer than I expected it to.
