The big 10! I finally wrote my tenth research assessment in ISM! This tenth research assessment mainly focused on topics of the importance of management being receptive to change in order to best anticipate it. I learned that it is pertinent for a consultant to understand the ins and outs of a company in order to most successfully anticipate new problems and reactions to solutions that are being implemented. Alongside this, the management of a company plays a crucial role in allowing the transition. I feel like I am suited for the position of a consultant because I love to communicate with others and truly understand social dynamics of new areas. This desire to learn and seek deeper knowledge makes me a solid candidate for someone preparing to enter the field of consulting.
Ten is a meaningful number and now that I look back on my previous work in ISM, I couldn't be prouder of myself and how far I have come in learning more about management consulting. Reviewing the beginnings of my research assessments and seeing how my knowledge has been constantly reinforced and molded shows me that I really am furthering my progress thanks to this program. Joining ISM truly has been the opportunity of a lifetime and I am excited to finish off the year strong!
